100 Themes-Sketch:5 Light

This is the cleaned sketch I have for Light for the 100 themes challenge.
Ok, the idea for this came from browsing DA and seeing animals with glowing eyes. I figure Light would be best shown as light coming from something (in this case it would be the lanterns and the moon plus stars later on). A deer, I figured, is a great model for this as he can light the way for others using his antlers. The chains and the hooks are an added ominous touch that I felt would go along well with his character. He's a mysterious guy that you don't know if he's lighting the way to freedom or a trap.

I have the chain and lanterns switched on purpose! If you look closely, even though the lanterns seem to be side by side, they are on different areas of the antlers. This was done purposely. I don't like things being perfectly symmetrical BUT at the same time, if you see him from one side or the other it looks as if either the lanterns or the hooks are side by side. So it's a symmetry that's not there but is. Kinda like light, it can be so dull that you can't tell if it's really there or not.

The background I'm planning on doing a bit out of focus. Hence why the moon is still more of a sketch then anything. It's going to consist of a gradient of darkness with stars and a glowing moon, all out of focus.

Was PARTIALLY TRACED from here. I tried a few sketches of my own and didn't like how they were turning out so I traced a bit to get it where I wanted it. This is for a personal project, not for profit so I see no problem with it.
